Anderson Cooper’s full name is Anderson Hays Cooper. Since 2003 he has been a top host of the U.S. CNN prime time television “Anderson Cooper 360 °”. Because of his detailed and true outspoken reports, he has won several awards, including “America’s best headlines prize”.
Cooper tried to deliver a job application for reception in the most basic phone ABC after graduating from Yale, but he was refused. He found it not so easy to enter the site of the studio, Cooper decided to get a fake reporters pass with the help of friends. In a very small news agency Channel One Cooper made verification of the facts at that time. Channel One has a program facing with the youth, to many junior and high school report in the United States. Cooper entered Burma with his fake pass, and met with the students who were fighting against the country’s government. He finally sells the first news to Channel One.
Burma’s report ended, Cooper learned the language in Vietnam for a year. Anderson soon start filming and organizing the report relevant Vietnamese life and culture after persuading Channel One allowing him to bring Hi-8 camera, broadcasted on Channel One. Then he went through all the areas where has suffered from war’s destruction for recording stories, including Somalia, Bosnia and Rwanda.
Long time of news correspondent’s work experience made Cooper start to become not too sensitive with violence around him. The Rwandan genocide terrorist scene seems to not matter, he said, “I would see a dozen bodies and think, you know, it ‘s a dozen, it’ s not so bad.” But a special event pulled him out from this status.
“On the side of the road [Cooper] came across five bodies that had been in the sun for several days. The skin of a woman’s hand was peeling off like a glove. Revealing macabre fascination, Cooper whipped out his disposable camera and took a closeup photograph for his personal album. As he did, someone took a photo of him. Later that person showed Cooper the photo, saying, “You need to take a look at what you were doing.” “And that’s when I realized I’ve got to stop, [...] I’ve got to report on some state fairs or a beauty pageant or something, to just, like, remind myself of some perspective.”
In 1995, Cooper became the ABC News communications reporter, and he finally began to work together to host World News Now on September 21 in 1999. In 2000 he changed business line again, become The Mole ABC show joint host. To which he described:
‘ ‘My last year at ABC, I was working overnights anchoring this newscast, then during the day at 20/20. So I was sleeping in two-or four provides hour-by-hour shifts, and I was really tired and wanted a change. I wanted to clear My head and get out of news a little bit, and I was interested in reality TV-and it was interesting”
In 2011, directed by Ashford, Daniel Radcliffe in the Broadway played How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Copper served as the narrator.
